Employers - Recruiting Services

It has been said that hiring someone is a lot like going on a blind date.  Workforce has services to aid you in taking the guesswork out of your hiring decisions.

Employ Florida
Employ Florida is our statewide online labor exchange system which allows employers to input job openings, look for candidates, access training program information and research labor market conditions—all at your fingertips, from the comfort of your desk.  This resource is a self-service tool however because we know your time is limited and valuable to your company, Workforce’s knowledgeable and trained Employer Services Representatives are available to assist you in any aspect of using the system or even do it for you.

Employ Florida Registration Tutorial and other videos are available at the Workforce Employer Resource Center.

Post Your Openings
When you contact Workforce to publicize a position vacancy, it will be posted in Employ Florida.  When on this website, your job gets broad exposure to jobseekers.  We will work with you to optimize the posting in order to attract the best possible candidates.  Our system requires a certain amount of information to be input before your job opening is available to be seen by jobseekers--this form includes all the information needed.

4 Ways to get your job posted

  • Call Workforce’s Employer Resource Center at (850) 973-4291.
  • E-mail your job description and the job order form above to EFM-Employers@nfwdb.org.
  • Contact your Employer Services Representative.
  • Use the self-service tools at www.EmployFlorida.com.  A Job Posting Tutorial Video is available at the Employer Resource Center.

Search for Job Candidates
Workforce provides tools and resources for you to find the right employee the first time.  Use Employ Florida to conduct resume searches of jobseekers registered.  (A Resume Search Tutorial Video is available at the Employer Resource Center.)  You can search by keyword, minimum requirements or even desired work location of the jobseeker.  We can teach you the best ways to search and filter your results.

Job Matching and Applicant Screening
When you post a job with specific requirements, an Employer Services Representative will work to match qualified applicants to your job.

Also, based on the criteria you provide us, we will screen applicants for you to provide you with the best possible pool to choose from.

Assessment
Workforce is proud to offer skills assessment testing to your job candidates.  We are an Assessment Site for Florida Ready to Work and Prove It!.  We can also administer your assessments either online or pencil and paper.

Application/Resume Handling
Instead of being inundated with applicant traffic at your place of business, Workforce can accept application on your behalf with the utmost confidentiality.  Applicants can submit their resume materials to us in one of our offices, on one of our mobile units, by fax, by mail or by email.  We will tailor this service to meet your needs.

Recruiting Events
Large or small, your place or ours—your Employer Services Representative will work hand-in-hand with you to design a recruiting event to attract applicants and/or hold interviews.  Workforce’s Mobile Units may also be available for use.
